I am thrilled to invite you to a weekend Creative Escape in the charming town of Colonial Beach, Virginia, September 30th and October 1st.
You’ll enjoy a waterfront setting as you learn new skills among a supportive community at all levels of their creative journey. We will laugh, create, share meals and make friendships.
Your registration includes:

Supplies and materials: We will create with a variety of mediums and products including but not limited to Iron Orchid Designs, Roycycled Treasures, Amy Howard and Wise Owl Paint.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on September 30th and breakfast on October 1st. For those of you arriving on September 29th, I would love to welcome you to a reception from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM that evening.
Tentative Schedule:
- Friday, September 29th:
- 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Welcome reception for those of you arriving on Friday, September 29th.
- Saturday, September 30th:
- 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Breakfast
- 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Creative workshop with a break for lunch
- 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm: Break with opportunity to rest and/or explore the town.
- 6:30 pm: Dinner
- Sunday, October 1st:
- 8:00 am -9:00 am: Breakfast
- 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Opportunity to finish project(s) and/or additional creative time.
- 12:00 pm - Close
While I am unable to make hotel and transportation arrangements for you, I am pleased to place you in contact with our VRBO representative as well as provide alternative hotel options. The VRBO options are close to the main venue and offer more cost-effective arrangements (e.g. $80 - $150/night before tax and reasonable cleaning fee) assuming double/triple occupancy/home.
